THUNDER
A meditative chant poem

Shhhhhhhhh..... hot winds sift the desert sands. Grain by grain, over the curvaceous plain, you return.... home, home, home.... to your sacred heart. Hot winds and a fire start. That leaps up the Tree of Eternity and sings you, sings you free. Boom, boom, boom..... go the decibels, shaking blood water in the sacred wells. Drink. Drink the onyx night. Inebriate stars with your golden light. Prowl the dunes in your feline delight. Lightning is your birthing cue. Prepare your womb, womb, womb. You are a thousand ancestors dancing in the morning dew. Gather silence and cook a healing stew. Cross the mystic meadow. Let go your long forgetting.... shedding, shedding, shedding.... Crouch against the Birthing Tree. Call forth the supple Nile waters. Bring close your BeLoved daughters. Gush, gush.... the tides of birth water breaking. Electric air on your tender tongue. Mmmm... now you hum. Hum the sum of your ancient longing. Hum the sun, sun, sun... burn your pain away. Drop your placental veil and get to seeing. Now wail and moan and shatter stone. You are birthing. Birthing memory. Of when you rose up wet and glistening from Immortal Sea. Remember your infancy. Remember when you were we and we were free. Remember your diaphanous epiphany. Now you are vessel blood surging through our Infinite Heart. Feel the warming blanket of your artery. You are arrow and archery. Find your beat. Now drum, drum, drum. Here it come, come, come. Obsidian in the sky, rumbling over landscape of ages. Bleaching blood stained papyrus pages. Preparing a bright new emptiness for you to fill with your holy script. Grip the Birthing Tree. Boil the sweet gum water. Wail our new world out through your birth canal. Birth Harmony. And her sibling spirits. Birth symbiosis and reciprocity. Birth serenity and succulence. Birth our new season of reclaimed, resurrected Sacredness. Grip the Birthing Tree. Set freedom free. And here it come. The rippling sky majesty of your newborn voice. Its sound is, its sound is.... Thunder. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.... Jaiya John
